Account Manager

The primary focus of the Account Manager is to manage the day-to-day client relationship, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and within agreed budgets. This involves the management and overseeing of all team project execution, including their own and those of the Account Executive.

The objective of the Account Manager is to develop and maintain positive client relationships through first class customer service, ensuring that all clients are 100% satisfied with the service and delivery from Mason Zimbler.

The job holder will work across specified Mason Zimbler accounts, and will be supported by an Account Executive.

The Account Manager will have key responsibility for the relationship between the client and Mason Zimbler’s creative services:

  • Managing the client relationship, and taking briefs from clients for projects and campaigns, both face to face, by phone and in writing.
  • Overseeing the budgets and costings for clients, ensuring that clients are fully informed at all stages, including ensuring purchase orders are received from the client at each stage of costing.
  • Briefing and liaising with production teams to ensure that innovative and cost effective solutions are proposed and agreed.
  • Briefing and liaising with the creative teams, ensuring both the creative team and the client are fully informed and all necessary approvals obtained at each stage of the process.
  • Managing the Account Executive reporting systems, including status and contact reports.
  • Overseeing all files/job jackets, both physical and digital, ensuring approvals are documented in writing and filed appropriately.
  • Setting up, managing and reporting on meetings with clients, suppliers, internal teams and reporting appropriately.

Essential Experience

  • Minimum five (5) years experience in marketing/direct marketing/advertising. Preferably from an agency background with two years experience as an Account Manager.
  • Digital marketing experience is required.
  • Experience with inbound and outbound marketing, demand waterfall, lead scoring, buyer’s journeys, marketing automation.
  • Marketing Automation Platform experience is required and experience with Eloqua and Unica are preferred.
  • Solid understanding of marketing services, through education and practical experience.
  • Experience of working with creatives and production, to ensure client satisfaction.
